Mr. Ahn was born in South Korea in 1977 and moved to the United States of America in 1994. He is son of Gwang S. Ahn (Professor in Kyungpook National University in Korea) and Oak R. Kim, and has a youger sister Grace and wife Jean. Mr. Ahn holds B.S. in Architecture and Bachelor of Architectural History from University of Virginia (2000) and Master of Architecture from Yale University (2003) with Advanced Standing. (Boston, MA), Tai Soo Kim Partners (Hartford, MA), Kann Partners (Baltimore, MD), Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill LLP (Chicago, IL), and Dongwoo Architects (Taegu, Korea). He has extensive experience with public architecture such as airports and transportation centers, athletic facilities, institutional / academic buildings, and biotechnology lab / office buildings. Mr. Ahn is a registered architect in the state of Massachusetts (License # 50011) and a member of American Institute of Architects (Member #30300573).
